A few from a spectacular concert in Iowa City this past Friday, June 7th with a Pentax K-x & Pentax-A 35-105 lens:

And here's one my wife got with the Pentax Q & 02 zoom:

Richard is the man! And his band is equally superb.

Now there is someone I would totally enjoy seeing live. Thanks so much for sharing. That looks like Cassandra Wilson's drummer. Very cool

The drummer is Michael Jerome, and he's a monster. (Well, you'd kind of have to be pretty good to hang with RT.) Bassist is Taras Prodaniuk, who has played with Dwight Yoakam for 14 years, and also played with Spencer Davis, Lucinda Williams, Sara Evans and a bunch of others.

If you ever get the chance to see RT, go... He's an incredible musician.

Thanks much! I could have done something more interesting if I'd had more freedom of movement, but I knew if I moved to get a different perspective someone would take my spot. And it was a choice spot, right in front of Richard. Plus, taking the photos were secondary to enjoying the show.

A couple more:

And finally, kind of an amusing one of the drummer sticking his tongue out at Richard

Nice shots, you really did well. Sharp, blurred just at the right places to convey motion. Looks like a great concert

Thanks very much. I never shot a full-blown actual concert before, so I was just winging it. I set the camera to RAW & manual mode at ISO 1600 with the lens wide open at f:3.5, shutter speed at either 1/90th or 1/125th (can't remember which) & left it there all night. It was indeed a stupendous concert.
