I too am a big fan of macro photography, add a few drops of water and you always seems to have a winner. I just purchased an atomizer (a sprayer that produces the finest mist just for flower, insect, and macro related shots). Nice shot, works wells as a B&W conversion.

Sounds amazing, a gun that reduces the victim down to atoms!

Very nice macro shot

Thank you, I have not converted it to black and white but that might make it more striking. It is a white flower, the pic was taken in the rain However I think I will get a spray bottle and keep it handy Good suggestion. Thank you for your comments

Atomizer! An essential part of every Macro Shooters kit, I reckon.

What can I say that hasn't been said before, Rosemary?

I do love the star-gleam in some of the water droplets. Absolutely stupefying.

Some how I have a knack for flower pics, the closer the better. Good thing I really love taking them. I guess I should say it is more of a craving , lol I thank everyone for your kind comments. At the point I took that photo I had not really learned how to use CS2 or other software programs so the photo has only been sharpened up a little and cropped a bit. For some reason everyone thinks I have "worked" the photo over in photo shop but I don't understand why they think this?????
