Two street shots
Lens: Jupiter-9 Camera: K-x Photo Location: Bangalore Aperture: F2

Two street shots, let me know if you like them or any comments.

Just saw him lost in thoughts, k-x + Jupiter-9 @f2

And this one is not from Pentax (hope I am not violating any rules), took a friend's 6D for comparison - 6D+40mm @f2.8

Thanks

Nice portraits--they convey a strong sense of presence. (The second one is great; the first--almost. Eyes should have been within the DOF, IMO.)

Thanks causey. Actually I have another photo where eyes are in focus, but somehow felt that OOF eyes emphasizes feeling of lost in thoughts more.

Very nice. I would like to have seen #1 with eyes in focus. #2 is wonderful.

Like the first one the best of the two, but the eyes need to be sharp, it's the first place everyone looks when viewing an image of a face.

I agree about the eyes in the first shot but I am not a portrait photographer so take it with a grain of salt. There is still something about the wistfulness in the first shot that I like however. The second one is such a different shot and quite powerful. I really want to know what the guy is thinking.
