Out on a Limb
Lens: 70mm Camera: K5 Photo Location: Arizona

This young raccoon in the Kaibab Forest seemed a bit confused on how to get down out of this ponderosa pine.

You must have a really sharp eye, or he was making a lot of noise. His camo is pretty good. Great shot!

Jim, I didn't even see him, Terri picked up on him moving up in the tree, that's why I call her "the Hawk".

We watched this little guy for quite a while and then he went up higher and just stretched out on this limb. We got tired of waiting also and left.

Really cute photo, and great spotting work by Terri as well!

Must agree with their nasty dispositions, having worked with several injured ones. Also they can carry rabies and show no symptoms for some time...
