This is a series of images from the Edison Illuminating Company's Station A as it has been reconstructed at the Henry Ford's Greenfield Village. Henry Ford (before starting Ford Motor Company) worked for Thomas A Edison and became Chief Engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company's Station A. These are a series of images from inside the generating station. It produced DC current power.

These were taken a couple of weeks ago, nice bright summer day, so in order to not have the windows blown out, I bracked all the shots (5 frames stacked at +/-2ev). All the images are at least 3 to 5 stitched frames wide. So each of these resulting images are a composite of 15 to 25 images each. I also tried to shoot around the fencing that they have inside the building, but tried to keep it interesting.

The first shot is of the exterior of the generating station, while the rest are of the boiler, and steam generators, belt and pulley systems and the DC rectifiers.

I had some flaring from the windows and skylights that I couldn't avoid, so it is what it is....
