Viewing the moon through Colorado smoke filled sky. Fires continue to rage near the small town of South Fork, which soon may be lost to fire.

Good color of Super Moon.
We missed it because it is in the rainy season.

Great colors Bob. Keeping my fingers crossed that those fires are over soon.

With the smoke, it looks more like a Halloween Moon, wish we had some of that rain in Colorado.

Great shots - and if you want rain, can't you take some of that which has fallen on France lately? It appears that here, the weather gods have decided to skip spring and summer entirely, and go straight from winter into autumn.....

Super moon over Lake Ontario tonight

I was also challenged by the opportunity tonight to capture the moon. Had a bit of haze and cloud over the water which didn't help...

It's too bad this area isn't getting more rain, it is very dry with winds every day it seems. I'm afraid the worse of the fires has yet to come. Try to stay dry.
