Camping in the Cascade Mountains, this daisy was growing in a dry river bed and it just struck me.

One of my favorite flowers. Wish the lighting had been a bit better but it looks to be very sharp with lots of nice detail.

It was essentially dark or at least heavily dusk. I was on that river bed with my tripod and grabbed that on the way back as an after-thought. I would say the photo exposed pretty close to how it looked in the moment. The next day, someone had either picked it or stepped on it, because it wasn't there when I looked.
