It's stinking hot, so we took the dogs to the swimming hole....

One of Tess' photos, just so you have an idea where we were.

The DA 18-135 was the only lens I took, I didn't have my macro lens, but it filled in admirably.

All the small flower 18-135 images (includes some from last year.)

Norm, what is that first flower? Looks almost like a bleeding heart or dutchmens breeches but with yellow. Whatever it is, it is really a beautiful image.

We don't know what it is, it didn't grow at the swimming hole last year, but it's very wet this year and we're seeing flowers we haven't seen there before.

Here's another one...

This is the one I meant to post... I think it's a little better.

Tess found it... it's a pink corydalis (corydalis sempervirens)
