Noir et Blanc Avec de L'eau

A collection of Black & White images based around water. I don't believe that any of these are actually true greyscale for I prefer a warmer feel to my monotone creations.

Street with No Name

Dawn

Pool

The End

Conundrum

A Moment in Time

Amsterdam Bay

I really love what you've done here. The more abstract photo's are strong and moody, the last landscape has a depth and peacefulness that is really compelling. The End conveys a real feeling of cold and loneliness and A moment in Time seems a very well executed staged photo. And the way you transferred them to B&W is excellent.

Really stunning, all of them. I'm guessing Dawn, Conundrum and Amsterdam Bay are the 15 Ltd? This is a gear-geek forum. We demand to know!

Thanks, mate!
These are just a few of my B&W experiments but all faves of the many I have in my portfolio.
I will post more soon

Thanks so much for the encouragement, Koz!
I only wish that I can afford such a piece of glass. The images you mentioned were all shot with a lowly Tamron 17-50 and with my old K10 except for Amsterdam Bay which I believe was with the same lens but with the K20.
If someday I get a better grasp of this photography thing and actually make a few dollars because of it, I have a very specific list of Pentax and Sigma glass I will definitely be purchasing

Agree with what has already been said. Stunning series of images. Your B&W conversion process is fantastic.

Really like the abstract nature of the shots and the processing is quite nice!

I really like these. My favourite is Amsterdam Bay, but shouldn't you straighten it?

Can you tell me what's going on in Moment in Time? What caused the splash?

Each one is a jewel - great compositions and exceptional B&W conversions.
