A couple of friendly Lorikeets who dropped in for a feed. They allowed me to lay on my stomach about 1 metre away and snap some shots.

Very cooperative of them. Love their colorful plumage.

Very colorful indeed! Beautiful birds! My boss has a pair of scarlet Lorikeets and they are incredibly fun to observe in their aviary. They play together quite often.

Think they're called Rainbow Lorikeets. Well captured.

Thanks for looking folks. That was taken in a rare dry moment in what was otherwise a wet, boring weekend.
