Yesterday I went to Wittmund Airbase, Germany, to witness the last flight of the F-4F from the Luftwaffe. A memorable and sad day for us airplane enthousiasts, but it was a also great day. Below some images I shot yesterday:

Great shots. That blue one would be too pretty for any opposing force to shoot down. I think that's called "Aesthetic warfare".

Nice series, but I will say that number 12 really stood out. The B&W works so well.

Great photos! Even after all these years the F-4 is a tough-looking airplane. And there's nothing quiet about it!
