Lilac Symphony
Posted By: clarenceclose, 01-13-2007, 07:26 AM

Take the flowers from your yard
Add a pinch of vision
A dash of play
A splash of color
A new idea
Mix thoroughly in Photoshop and enjoy.

C&C appreciated.

Clarence, I really like how you play with Photoshop! I barely have the patience to try the stuff that you do. Nice job

Very interestinggg. I almost think you need a little more of something in the top.

Well Clarence,
I would call this your lilac period. I find it interesting, artistic, and creative. I do like it for some off the wall reason. Keep it up my friend.

Good shooting.
Cheers: David

I'll have to try that recipe sometime Very creative Clarence, glad to see you're having a ball with photoshop! I'll have to keep an eye on you to absorb as much technique as I can!

Clarence, Amazing photoshop work out there. A lot of techniques being applied here with lots of time consumed!

Really pleasant and aesthetic!

Thank you. You are all very kind.
I agree with Vievetrick that the top needs something but I could not see what at the time of creation.
Well that is something filed for the next photoshop experiment.

great photoshop work... there's no better way to learn than through experimentation. in this particular case, the execution is excellent. i think this is one of your best... the only thing that's distracting (for me) is the heavy black outline at the top of the main image. i'm not really sure what other options you had, but i might try playing with that a bit, maybe to provide a bit less contrast at that split point? thought like i said, overall it's very well done.
