Here's a couple of pics from the weekend and today first a goose:

Nice series Tom - the bird shots are spot on. Love the water dripping off in #1. The first eagle shot is a great capture as are the next few. Very sharp pictures. The fox one looks a little overexposed or blown out a bit. Looks like a real sunny day tough conditions.

Thanks Dave, You're right about the fox I did it on my laptop and on my work computer it doesn't look so hot - I'm going to have to redo them. I'm going to get a real computer one of these days (maybe when my son goes to college- he built himself a really nice one)

Wow, BEAUTIFUL pictures. The woodpecker shots are just STELLAR. I love all of these, especially the woodpecker and fox shots. The fox's eyes and coloration really stand out.

Thanks sweet bay, I'm just learning to use a long lens and it's a challenge.I miss a lot if I use a tripod and I just ordered a monopod so I think it will help.
