Hello,

I was at work today. Me being a surveyor and all, I work in the bushes sometimes, and I ran across this little fellow. I have never seen one of this colour before in St. Vincent, so its significant for me.

He must be a big one if you just used the 18~55 up close! Nice catch, and I agree that the color really "jumps" at you!

The little guy was quite coorperative!! He let me get to within 10 inches of him and barely flinched even when the lens focussed and made its usual racket and the flash went off. I got at least twenty shots of him before i left, not him. After about f minutes he jumped away but stayed close by. i had almost an hour to shoot pics of him!
