Found him hiding in the shadows of a tree....being lazy.

Not the sharpest image, but he didn't want to come any closer, and quite frankly, I didn't want to get too close either.

Taken with my 18-250 at 250mm

Good shot. Its a majestic animal, but pretty unpredictable and potentially dangerous, so staying at 250mm sounds right. And I don't think its even unsharp. Maybe it is at a bigger resolution. I can't see the exif data, so I don't know what shutter speed you used, but in this case it would have to be pretty fast to keep the photo sharp.

But good capture. You showed how big it is, how it fills up the frame, how the big dark animal contrasts with the bright soft nature
