Great shot Rosemary! I love how the butterfly picked up the yellow from those mums! What lens did you use?

Oh, gosh! I don't know. It had to have been either my old pentax smc 70-210 A macro or my Pentax smc DA 50-200. I wish there was a way to tell. I do know I used my flash for this shot. Thanks for the feedback on the pic

Pull it into the Pentax photo browser. Looks like....

55mm / 1/125 sec shutter speed, F8.0 aperture, with spot metering... Lens name is blank (something older I guess)..

A beautiful picture, by the way!

Wow! I have not used that before, so will have to try it out. The only older lens I have is a SMC A 70-210 macro but that doesnt match up. So it had to be my 50-200.

But in Pentax Photo Browser, the 50-200 would be identifiable, surely?
Oh, nearly forgot, a really beautiful shot, well done!

One would think? I just dont have anything else that matches up so it had to be that lens. And thank you for the nice compliment too

Beautiful shot! You mentioned earlier that you used your flash. When I use Opanda to check the exif, it shows that flash didn't fire. I can never tell if the data is correct or not. I don't know how to check for the lens used -- wish I could, as I am always curious about what lens is used.

Hm, now I am confused. To me it did not look like I used flash but in my one program when I check on the info it will give me said flash. Ach! LOL

Wonderful shot! Just the right amount of depth of field, with a super-sharp object and an unobtrusive background! The kind of shot I'm still trying to achieve!

Somehow for me when it comes to flowers, it just seems to work fairly often. Now I have had plenty of flowers to shoot but really no people or at least not many. So that I have a feeling will be a huge challenge for me. How long have you been shooting? Me, since Mid Aug 07
