St Pats part Duex!
Posted By: codiac2600, 03-18-2008, 09:29 AM

Well I was called in to have another go at the St. Patricks day party at Oscars and this time it was actually on St Patricks day. I finally got the hang of the K20D in the dark area as it locks focus much faster than I'm used to and also exposes with much more contrast so it was well worth going in for another try.

Smile! Smile BIG!

I need a shot! oh gosh....

Yup I threw out the peace sign... totally old school right?

Everyone is doing the peace thing now.... it's getting old!

Bold and daring!?

Waitress power!

I think the guy on the left is allergic to green beer????

Oh yeah! We have big hats!

That pose is so much better than showing the peace sign right? nope not really bud...

Happy St. Patricks Day from Oscars Pub in Rockford! Yay!

It was ISO 250 at f4 with the flash at 1/4 power with a whale tail diffuser. Shutter speed was 1/6th of a second handheld with shake reduction on.

I participated in a St. Patty's day event. (drinking end!) There was a photog for Philly2nite.com there with a camera mounted flash just lining people people up and snapping away. The result? Every picture on the website looks exactly the same. I should send them a link to your blog!

Great series again, Chris.

These people seemed to have fun with you arround. I often wonder whether you crack jokes to get that relaxed atmosphere or it was all simply due to ETOH...
