An Evening in Ventura
Camera: Pentax K-5
Posted By: GeoJerry, 07-06-2013, 09:40 PM

I had a few hours to kill in Ventura one evening last week, and so I wandered over to the pier and took some late afternoon and early evening shots. Here they are in no particular order.

Jerry, beautiful colors. I like the way you were able to gather in the color playing on the water. TFS Cliff

Really nice shots but I'm baffled by what appear to be lights off to sea in the 5th photo. Is it a ship, an oil rig, a lighthouse or something else?

Thanks Tako.... that's an offshore oil production platform in the Santa Barbara Channel.
