I took this last year while visiting my mom at Christmas. It's Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas NV. I wanted to try getting it with an ultra wide angle lens, so here it is at 10mm!

You have to love that red sandstone against the clear blue sky. Have to get back out west soon.

That is one of the reasons I love the desert. Sure, here where I live is pretty, but all we have is green and blue. I want more contrast, but I can't get that until fall.
