...and sorry for calling it a starfish. I checked the name in Wikipedia before posting, as english is not my main language, and they call it a Starfish too. Maybe this term is not widely used among english speakers.

So, let's call it a sea star (!) as I myself prefer. It is the direct translation from portuguese, my main language: "Estrela do Mar".

No, you're right, most people call them "starfish," even though it's technically incorrect. It's like calling a peanut a nut. Everybody does it, even though it's technically a bean, not a nut.

I do like your picture. That color is quite bizarre. Things are so much different in the ocean.

Beautiful color on the starfish (yep, that is what I have always called them too.) Have seen that color once before and it really does stand out.
