Thank you. It is a flower vase, the right side is the mouth of vase while the left is the inside. I used two flashes, one right behind the vase to the left and the other one at a lower power to light up the right side. Believe it or not it is my first attempt at abstract photography (I mostly only shoot portraits) after reading the first chapter of the book Photo Inspirations which is about about abstract, the rest of the chapters are about portraits, landscape etc. After spending a couple of hours with the K-01 on a tripod while shooting this series I got to know the K-01 better which helped me do an indoor photo shoot the next day. Shooting with the K-01 on a tripod is like shooting a manual prime, it makes you stop and think about composition. From know on the K-01 and tripod will go with be to boudoir type shoots as I find it an indispensable addition to my K-5. Sorry for rabbling and I'm glad you guys enjoyed the photograph and thanks for the feedback, it encourages me to keep trying out new things.
