What a difference a month makes.

It seems like a long while since I did anything on the forum but it has been a very busy past month. The first 3 pics were taken on June 10th and the rest were taken today. It looks like a great year for the tomato plants and 3 of the 5 Heavenly Blue Morning Glory plants have made the deck. They grow over 6" a day. This month for me won't be as busy as the last so I'll try not to be a stranger.--charliezap

Good heavens Charlie, looks like yard work must keep you very busy. Glad you included the capt. He seems to have settled in nicely. Can't wait for the morning glories to cover your deck and know you will provide us with more photos of them when they do. They were gorgeous last year and look to be even better this year.

Thanks Susan. It takes a little over 2 hrs to do the mowing and trimming.Bob H reminded me that I promoted the Capt. to Admiral status because he had been in the basement since 1978.--charliezap

Looking good Charlie. My tomato plants were doing good, I was getting 20-25 a week off them for about a month. But now it's been cloudy and raining everyday for the last couple of weeks and they've stopped making. Got plenty of green ones on the vines, but they are starting to rot. Time for some fried green maters.

It must be nice to be able to sit and watch your plants grow before your eyes. Good stuff. It has been so hot and dry here I water everyday just to keep stuff alive.

To me Dennis every year is a new adventure as to what will do well given the conditions for that year.I'm hoping for a great morning glory year along with the tomatoes.--charliezap
