Stopped at Morro Bay for a stretch while driving back from my mom's.

This DSRV was on display, so I stopped to look.

I parked here for the DSRV.

The famous Morro Rock from across the channel.

Free parking right next to the rock.

Phone woman.

The beach.

Fetch, doggie.

Whale watchers.

Pedal cart women.

Dog.

Pelicans.

Peregrine falcon lookout. Lots of birds, here.

Laying low.

Thanks for taking me back to Morro Bay. We spent a week or so there after coming back from Alaska and it turned out to one of our favorite places on our trip.

I'm surprised that they were able to receive the DSRV from the Navy without even a building ready for their museum.

Great shots from your visit though.

I've been a couple times in passing, but other than the rock, I don't know what is there.

It should be OK - I think it's weatherproof :-)
