This Emu at Tidbinbilla was so used to people that it was easy to get close for this shot.

The Emus seem well fed. I think this was a young one though; seemed a bit small.

I agree with other comments, the quality of this is superb. What lens did you use?

Thanks everyone! The lens was the DA55-300. In case the EXIF data isn't visible on Flickr, it was 1/250s f7.1, 190mm, ISO400. It was a bit of a dull day - the detail could have been better if it was at 100ISO!
