Very nice first attempt. The bridge sure made a great foreground.

Good Work!

Hello Dom,
Very nice captures on the fireworks, clear and sharp.
Just a suggestion, this is a matter of personal taste as opposed to a critique, I'd prefer to have the bridge be darker, it competes with the fireworks for attention, or (again, JMO) makes the photos too busy. YMMV.
Next time, try a few shots with -2/3 to -1.0 exposure compensation (Ev) dialed in. The firework display will still be bright but any forground or background detail will underexpose slightly.
Great photos in any event!
Ron

Thank you very much for the suggestions and I will definitely have to try that out next time. I tried doing some touch up in Lightroom to make the fireworks pop and the bridge less bright, but overall I was satisfied with the result.
