gut wrenching, heart breaking scene... captured superbly bob...
our daughter/family live very close to this area, they were evacuated from their home, but thankfully the weather changed and their home was safe.

That is tough to see.
We saw similar scenes when we helped with cleanup at sites after a big fire in our mountain resorts (Arrowhead/Big Bear) near here a few years ago.
Just charred trees, foundations and chimneys were left standing.
We helped the homeowners sift through the ashes for anything that could be saved, but not much was left.
Kyle posted some pics of Arrowhead earlier this year and they did a great job of cleaning the area up. Those pine beetles did so much damage and killed off the trees there which really added to the fire.

Devastating for sure Mike, I would find it hard to start over again at my age, this fulltime RVing looks better all the time.

Hurts to view the loss. We try to live where it is scenic and peaceful, but sometimes Mother Nature wants us out. Thanks for posting, reminds me to be more thankful for good fortunes in life.

Regards!

You're right Rupert, cherish what you have, it can be lost in the blink of an eye.
