This is the Richard and Annette Bloch cancer survivors park in San Diego.
There is another R & A Bloch park in Bakersfield with the identical sculpture.
The sculpture was the last, a labor of love, by Victor Salmones.
(From the plaque in Bakersfield) "The back five figures are cancer patients and their supporters, preparing to enter treatment, represented by the maze."
"Notice the fear, determination and hope on their faces in contrast to the joy of the front three, signifying successful treatment."
There were encouraging statistics and quotes on most of the pillars, which I failed to document :-(
A bench at the pathway entrance.
