Lightning catch
Lens: Tam 18-200 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Colorado ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 5s Aperture: F11

Grabbed this one last weekend when a storm was nice enough to pass west of me. I stayed dry and relatively safe from the lightning. I think I took 50 shots and this was the best. Lots of city lights to interfere, but with this one only being a 5 second shot, I don't think they ruined it for me. Not great, but it was fun to try these shots. In this one I like the little bit of blue that was left in the sky. Lots of crop and noise reduction. Thanks for looking.

Spectacular weather. You caught some interesting behaviors.
I think you'd have a stronger image, however, if you cropped the light region on the right-hand side off - it competes with the lightning for the viewers' attention. The column-like cloud is quite interesting, though.

Nice shot! i'm yet to take a nice picture of lightening! so hard to do! well done!
