Bigma moon shot.
Posted By: charliezap, 07-20-2013, 11:35 AM

This was taken several days ago. There were very very thin clouds flitting by the moon and it seemed to give it a different look on a very warm humid night. The OS feature on the Bigma is a big plus.--charliezap

I'm not much of a moon shot fan, but that is certainly a good one, crisp and clear and love the color tones!

Love the shot!

I find it interesting that the shadow on your moon shot is on the left, whereas the shadow on the moon here in South Africa a few days ago was on the bottom right - is that because I am looking at it from the southern hemisphere?
The Bigma is great from 1/4 million miles away and it is awesome from 6ft away.Later I'll post some dragonfly shots from 5-6ft distance that really impressed me with what the Bigma is capable of..---charliezap

Great shot charliezap. I assume it was taken at 500mm? I have my eye on this lens and this would be one of the uses I have pegged for it.

The OS works like a charm for this type of shot.It does dampen the vibes.--charliezap
