I like retro but the wife wants a change.
Lens: Pentax 18-250 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma. ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F9.5

One of the bathrooms is 1970's with the colors. It is neat and clean but the boss wants a change.I like it but my vote doesn't go very far.I tried this shot with the K5 in one of the HDR modes. In the long run I'll lose out.--charliezap

Sorry Charlie, you're wrong on this one. I like retro too, but that is what the Mrs. wants, then it is the right thing.

You could buy a lot of lenses for what it costs to redo a bathroom.

Wow, your wife is picky, maybe you could point out that 40% of the world's population lacks indoor plumbing, but I doubt it'll help. LOL.

I kinda like it as it is.
Clean, neat.
Maybe the floor and vanity cabinet, but otherwise I think it's fine.

Nice shot.

I like it the way that it is, but yes, it does look a little dated.

Maybe just replacing the tiles with bigger ones and the sink with some grey tiles (and a white sink maybe) would pick up the countertop nicely.

You could point out (very tactfully) that we don't just change things because they look a little dated. As a punishment I could see you never being allowed to upgrade to a new body again! (Camera body that is.)
But I don't mind the bathroom. Maybe a more modern approach with the curtains? Be sure to tell us what the outcome is, if you have enough fingers left to use a keyboard.

If the toilet flushes and the sink drains, I don't tend to notice much else.

When your wife wants to remodel a Bathroom, the best thing you can do if figure out how to help her. Because..... It's going to be remodeled with or without you..

Tell her you are going for a mediterranean look. Just add a few grecian urns, some greek gods and a minoan fisherman. Problem solved.

Sometimes we just need a change. Good luck with that bathroom remodel.
