I don't know why but this mountain top intrigued the heck out of me this weekend.. and still is.. Maybe the snow is getting to my head.. LOL

Here are some more shots of it.. Don't know if I like the color or B&W better...

This one has had no processing... just converted to B&W..

Any thoughts??? good, bad, boring, yucky, ??

Thanks.. Happy Easter.. Kim

I like the B&M version. It's sort of eerie in a majestic sort of way... like Lord of the Rings or something.

But a nice picture. I like it.

Nice shots Kim the mist of clouds really helps that picture. As most of the scenary is BW there is not a stricking difference to me , although not wanting to be a fence sitter I will go with the BW - nice series.

i'll skew the other way and say i like the colour better, the blueness emphasizes the "coldness"

Nice images. I like them both Kim, perhaps the colour version a little more.

That is one reason why I liked it.. it does have a kind of mysterious feel about it..

Thanks k100d and Paul, I tend to like the color one better myself for the same reason... But I am not usually a b&w fan so that is why I wanted some feedback..

Of the 3 I like the last the most, with some softness and the B&W. Maybe not technically as much as a dynamic range as the others, but fits on this landscape, imo; that's why you asked for an opinion.

Very nice images Kim. I agree with K100d, I like the color version just a little better. I really like the crop on both of them. It draws the viewers eye right to the top of the mountain.

Agreed - I'm wondering what you'd think of a duo tone approach - keep the mood of the B&W, yet let the blue set the temperature (no pun intended)...

Nice work!

Hi Kim, I personally like the black and white conversions better. Happy Easter to you too.

I never really thought about a duo tone... but not really sure how to do one either... I will have to look into that one..

Thanks for the tip.... !! Kim
