Indeed have never seen a flower with those colors before well spotted.

Thanks, Dave. Actually, these are buds, not flowers (yet). And the colours are not natural, but software enhanced and so is the vignetting. 35-mm SLR lenses do not vignette naturally on the small sensor of the Q. I quite like the result - the original images are considerably duller.

Wow, if nature could really produce such coloured things like that, wouldn't the world be a more interesting place.

The next day I went back to the same placed with K-r + SMC-A 35mm f/2.8:



The above shot was processed from raw. Below is the jpeg out of camera after resizing and sharpening only.
