Shanghai at Night
Lens: DA 16-45 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Shanghai ISO: 100
Posted By: volley, 07-28-2013, 07:52 AM

More and more I take my tripod with me when I am going on business trips. During the weekend I had a chance to take a few shots in Shanghai.
Usually I stay in Pudong area and walk down Centrury Avenue for a few Kilometers. You never run out of opportunities to shoot there.

These images seem stunningly ultra sharp to me, especially the last two, well done.

Wow, great photos. It's nice to see where all those American dollars have gone!

Fantastic photos, Norbert. Beautifully composed and the B&W conversions are out of this world. Super job, my friend.

Thank you Jer, I enjoy playing with B&W conversions. I've got these printed these quite large - much better then seeing them on a screen.

Thanks for taking the time to comment Bob, allways appreciated!
The left building in the 3rd shot is 492 Meters high and the view from the top can be great (if Shanghai smog isn't too bad). The building under construction will be higher than 600 Meters when it is finished.

I enjoy staying in cities like Shanghai or Tokio for a few days ... but I couldn't live there. I'm allways glad when I can return to my little village with about 2000 people!

Wonderful images! Love the black and white and compositions. Tripods quickly become a necessity and habit...wonderful work.

I love the PP on this set and the lines of the buildings on the last two make them just stunning. Thanks for sharing these wonderful images.

Thanks Freddy, I go there roughly every two month, next trip is in 3 weeks. They have some interesting Christmas illuminations!
