I strode down the steps of my apartment, and removed my shoes as I am wont to do; and I looked around for possible photographic targets. I had that day loaded a roll of Kodak BW400CN that I found all by it's lonely at CVS, surrounded by rolls of cheap 35mm color film. My cat, Martha, unbeknownst to me, settled in to watch on the steps. I turned around, and was delighted by the conjunction of her and my similarly colored leather shoes. I snapped the picture and was pleased with the results.
