Mulberry Bridge_White River, Arkansas

driving out to the desert this week came across this old bridge in arkansas...place suffered from extreme run-over a few weeks prior......

k10d/tamron 18-250 f/8.0 iso 100 e.v+0.5 1/90sec.

I hope you did not drive over it? I do like the persepective in relation to the curve on the river.

.....thanks for the kind words folks......the bridge was safe, i spent a couple hours at this location and many folks drove by; one guy, a gas co. worker, stopped and talked for a while giving me a lot of info on the area.....finding this place was pure fluke though......
here's another from the opposite side of the bridge......

Great old bridge

That is a great old bridge and a wonderful find!!!! There are not many of those old bridges around anymore....

There used to be one where I grew up but the flood awhile back took it down river .. so now all that stand is the two slabs of concrete on either side of the river where it once stood..
