Bird In Flight

There was a different kind of bird flying up and down the creek tonight. He was mostly at treetop level but at one point he dropped below the treetops and was only about 20 feet off the water, about eye level from my deck. He was in the neighborhood for over an hour. It's usually egrets, blue herons, and the occasional bald eagle.

Wow... did you find out what/who they were looking for? Great shots... there seems to be a spot light on the back. We had an army helicopter circle us in the middle of the night recently... turned night to day with that spotlight. Found out later the pilot was lost. He landed temporarily in Whitney, got is bearings and then left for North Bay.
