"Cute" and "spider" in the same sentence...and the former modifying the latter; not something you see every day. And here, it's appropriate, IMO. I like that flower shot better, myself, but not because the spider puts me off...just something about the combination of colors and the symmetry of the "blossom". The spider's nice, but a bit small relative to the rest of the frame.

They can be cute if they're not crawling on you! Thanks for the comments. I actually have macros of the spider, but loved the flow of the cosmo.

Thanks for commenting Bob... they are funny spiders, when I get in close he stands up on two legs and spreads the front two legs far apart to look menacing. They love my flowers and I think they eat the aphids.
