Great shots Scott. I just love the 4th one. I like the composition of the yellow flowers against the logs. The last one is extra nice too. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for commenting Diane! I'm so ready for Spring this year, and enjoyed about hour taking these at our local botanical garden yesterday.

Very nice. I love NW Arkansas. My dad lives near Ft. Smith. My family is from NE Arkansas. I'm hoping to get back there in the next few years.

I appreciate the comments from a fellow Arkansan! I'm not a native, but enjoy all the state has to offer nonetheless. Hope you are able to venture back this way when the time is right.

I like#4 with the log as backdrop... but I love number 5, just works for me. Nice color and the green leaf about half way up the stem is cool looking.

Nice shots... Happy Easter

Thanks Marc! Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks is less then 2 miles from my house, so I'm looking forward to spending some time there this year.

I appreciate the comment Gus! I'm really glad that someone else especially liked number 5, because it's my favorite. I really wanted to get some closer shots of it, but didn't have permission to get off the designated path. Maybe next time.

Nice indeed ... now all you need to do is get closer and focus at 1:1
Especially that blue flower in the 2nd last shot.

Great colourful close ups Scott. Like them all but there is something extra interesting about 4 and the contrast with the texture of the logs. I wonder if the single flowers may have been better placed lower in the frame. Just a thought, may be wrong.

I agree...I need to make friends with the management, so I can get off the designated paths to get closer and put my new lens to better use. Thanks Simon!
