I caught my husband unaware as he was deep in thought.

Thank you for looking and commenting. It's funny you say that. We were at a party in Las Vegas about 15 years ago, Frank had a pony tail at the time, and he had several people approach him and ask if he was a David Crosby impersonator. My the way, he said he likes the part were you said "younger" brother .

Diane,
I see that this photo earned you a POTD at PhotographyVoice.com. Congratulations! What a great shot! Very nicely executed and excellent post-processing.

Thank you very much Scott, and thank you for commenting on PV. I was very surprised when I opened the site up this morning and saw it. I just uploaded it last night. That's a first for me, usually they set for days and sometimes never get picked. There are so many excellent photographers who post there.

Wow, the sharpness and color of the shot particulary amaze me .. this is terrific! What would you credit to the sharpness of this? The lens maybe? I'm still shedding my newbie feathers, and love to learn what exactly is behind a great shot.

Excellent portrait. Very well done. Would love to know what editing you did. It looks real and ethereal at the same time.
