Camera: Panasonic LX-5 Photo Location: Galveston, TX

Here are the ugly mugs of some of the formidable prehistoric critters recreated in an current exhibit at Moody Gardens on Galveston Island. All of these pics were taken with my little Panasonic LX-5, a sweet, convenient little camera that I've enjoyed considerably over the last few years. However, I'm thinking about getting another P&S with a larger sensor (the LX-5's is 1/6.3") and a faster zoom at longer focal lengths (LX-5: f/2 - 3.3), if such a thing is available. Other than keeping a lazy eye on Pentax DSLR offerings, I don't keep up with camera stuff, so I'd welcome any recommendations.

Jer

Thanks, my friend. That little P&S does a pretty darn good job; my desire - never very hot - for a larger one has already cooled.

Thanks, Dave. I looked around for Fred, but apparently he'd gone bowling .
