Back to the barron Canyon waterfall.
Lens: DA 18-135 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Algonquin Park, Barron Canyon

Cross posted from: Post your waterfalls and moving water....Add your best K-01 photos here ... DA 18-135 WR, Show us what it can do. 4 threads with one post, I'm not sure whether to be proud or feel guilty.

I went back to my favourite (local) waterfall recently.

From my last trip.... the first picture is Brian, who went with me on my most recent "photographer's trip". He's shooting a D800 but hey, I can't depend on Pentax to bring me customers.

All images K-01 and DA 18-135.

Nice... I guess it didn't sell too well but that K-1 takes some very nice pictures.

For shots where for various reasons you have trouble sticking your eye in the eye piece, I don't know why you'd use anything else. Because of the way it's built the "Live View" doesn't drain the battry much. I doubt you can beat this for anything close to the $400 I paid for it.

Thanks Jac... that one's black and white, there was so little actual colour in it, it was distracting. A combination of redish rock and mostly blue light from an overcast sky turned the rock black.
