The historic Rancho Los Cerritos had a Mud Mania day. Overflow parking was down the road. It happened to be surrounded (literally) by a golf course.
Getting close.
The entrance sign.
The actual building was closed - don't want a bunch of muddy kids running through it...

A direct hit.
Finesse did not work so well.

They emit a foul-tasting (we're told) yellow goo when scared. The worm, that is.
Snake painting.
Agates, maybe.
The band, a little out of focus.
Starting fresh.
Bugs and kids.
I'm not sure what was down there.

I have no idea what this was about.
I will have to return on a regular museum day.
