Here are some of the other shots of Day 2. I'll do the wildlife loop in a separate thread. Hope you are enjoying the tour of the Black Hills of South Dakota if not to bad for you

#1 - another one from the foggy Sylvan Lake

#2 - old steam engine in Hill City - there is actually a steam engine that still runs through the town and takes tourists on a ride.

#3 - candid moment Father and Son fishing. I talked to the dad for a bit fish were not biting but not a bad way to spend some family time.

#4 - ever cheerful Katie

#5 - minimalistic shot of Sylvan Lake

#6 - local wildflowers on the banks of a lake

#7 - the next three are just the general area lots of rolling hills

Lots of great pictures here, but #1 and #5 are really special. I love foggy shots like that.

and the tour continues, we rode the train to Keystone, always enjoy a train ride. I dug up my old pics from a couple years ago and found Sylvan Lake, the Needles Eye and the Cushman Scooter meet in Sturgis. Just wondering Dave, in your lifetime did you ever say "Katie Lied", that's a beautiful pic

Hey Jim thanks no we did not even know about it. We just saw it go by the hotel as we were leaving town.

Thanks basquist - it's a pretty cool place for sure had Katie not had a conference there I doubt I would have ever gone - sure glad I did.

haha thanks Bob - when she was a teenager

as its just in their nature - but she's a great kid / adult.

THanks Norm nope that's her gear

( as mentioned in the other thread use to be mine but as I upgrade I don't sell much I normally hand it down)
