Dragonflies and Morning Glories with buds-finally
Lens: 100mm Pentax-18-250 Pentax Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma.

Mother nature is cooperating big time lately. The dragonflies love to pose around the tomato plants and my Heavenly Blue Morning Glories are busting out with thousands of small buds that will eventually be 4" flowers. It's a great time of year here in the NorthEast.--charliezap

awesome shots of the fly Charlie, isn't it late for morning glories, fall will soon be here. Besides the admiral you'll have to get a small dinosaur for the yard.

The morning glories are late bloomers here Bob especially the big blue ones. This picture was last September. This year should be bigger and better since I learned to not fertilize them. They get lazy when fed.--charliezap

Charlie, your yard looks great! TFS. Morning Glories don't bloom here until almost fall.
I didn't plant any this year being sick I couldn't get outside to till the small flower garden I have.

I just toured the yard with my cup of coffee and spotted my first Heavenly Blue that has bloomed.I need to take a picture of it before it folds up.--charliezap

What did you shoot that with? Besides a Pentax. Nice and I like the backlighting.

Nice shots Charlie. My morning glories are blooming, but by time I get out they are already closing up for the day.

The dragonfly shots were with the K5 and Pentax 100mm macro and the others were with the Pentax 18-250.--charliezap
