Lens: Canon FD 80-200 F4 L Camera: Pentax K.5 Photo Location: Degerhamn, Sweden ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F4

Some days back I had the opportunity to see the second stage in the Ironman race in Kalmar, Sweden.

I used my converted Canon FD 80-200 F4 L lens on my K5 and it worked quite well. Lovely lens that one!

First some of the shots from ahead. Then some slow shots from the side were I set the lens at F8 and used slower times. Slowest was a 1/45s but most of the good ones were at 1/90s.
Last is one were I tried to catch the waterbottle handover.

I link the images to my gallery if you want to see more or bigger versions.

The last one from the buffet zone is innovative, I haven't seen that one before. Good job capturing both faces and telling a story with it.
I'm not too keen on the mega-clarity look of the series, but that's a taste thing.

Aah. Yes. I used to fully agree about the Clarity thing but lately I have started using it more and more. I think it worked ok on these bike shots. Looks more energetic, fast or something.
