Road Trip - The Badlands - Part 1
Camera: K5 Photo Location: South Dakota
Posted By: daacon, 08-25-2013, 06:30 AM

It's Sunday our last day. Katie and I left Custer and headed for the Badlands. We did stop at Wall and took a few snaps nothing worth posting. I remember getting some recommendations about Wall not really being photographic worthy but there were soooo many signs along the highway we had to stop in !

Just down the road from Wall is the badlands. South Dakota and Alberta share a similar landscape in places but these badlands were much more impressive. The only down side is we were relatively hung over Sunday from a evening in Custer that involved a few beers , some captains and a few too many shots of jager - None the less we headed out (maybe not as early as we had hoped ).

#4 _ I turn around and this could a prarie scene from Alberta

#7 - hand held pano , I think it was 8 or 10 shots.
