Rain day...
Lens: Pentax A-400 with 1.7TC AF Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Whitney, On ISO: 1600
Posted By: normhead, 08-26-2013, 02:29 PM

The light is soft, the rain is falling, the birds are wet, motion blur from shooting 1/00 sec a F-10 with a 400mm lens is ruining most of he images..

Oh well, we can always use a 2 second delay and F16 on the flower box....

Some of that rain Norm is supposedly heading my way.I was surprised to hear on the weather segment here that we've only had 3-4 rainy days in the Boston area for the whole month.---charliezap

I'd need a special little birdie cloth so I didn't lose him in the towel.

No need for a tiny towel - just use a hair dryer... err, feather dryer!

Despite the dark conditions, some very nice photos of the soggy birds, and especially nice floral image.

Thanks for commenting.... as for the flowers, it's such a treat to shoot things that just hold still when you take their picture, although I can hear the peanut gallery groaning, saying "where's the fun in that?"

Really like that first one Norm. Nice and soggy. We are hiring ourselves out to any parched area that needs some rain. It has been following us everywhere.

You should have said so before yesterday, we might have gone for it.

This is our first real rain in close to a month, so, I can't complain.
