We are getting ready to demo a Fire Station so we did some training on the building before the demo. I am having a blast with this new found hobby! I am glad I bought the K10D for it's weather sealing. This was one dusty shoot! Photoshop can really make a picture "pop".

K10D
55mm
f/5.6
ISO 200

This next shot I am calling "Red Hats". It was "pre-k10d", but I thought the photoshop came out neat and wanted to share.

Thank you for the compliments. The sparks were tricky to work around, but it was rewarding.

Those are really good shots, David, and the sparks did come out well, I like the ones zinging past the fireman's head -- it's almost a safety gear advert!

EDIT: It is a little unfortunate, judging by the names on the jackets, that a fireman is named Fry.

That is too funny. I never thought about his last name like that before!

He is a Captain too. Captain Fry!

Thank you for the compliments everyone.

One more set! Contrast or Brightness? Which do you prefer?

Maybe somewhere in between? I like the wall in the more contrasted picture, but overall the flatter seems a bit more natural.
