Most of you might know about the rim fire in Yosemite. We had planned a trip to the valley last weekend. We decided to continue the trip going by the advisory that the main valley is unaffected by the fire. However, the winds changed direction on Friday night and it filled the entire valley with thick smock.

We had to shorten our trip to few hours. Here are few shots from the short trip we had to the valley.

I too, love the muted colors and smoky feel to the first one, but they are all great! Thanks for sharing.

Nice shots! We're finally starting to see some of the smoke clear here in Northern Nevada. Hopefully it won't be long before we can enjoy clear skies once again.

You did get some gorgeous shots. The smoke added mystic to the valley. Wonderful shooting.
