Wonderfully done. I can't believe with all my great old cameras and lenses sitting around that I haven't done a gallery like yours. You'll understand, of course, that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

BTW, I only have two SLRs (K1000 & K100D), and 3 lenses.

Hmmm....I have...2 DSLRs, 4 or 5 film cameras (several don't work), 2 point & shoot digitals (one currently out on tour), and about 43 lenses!

NOPE!!! i went straight from my mamiya/sekor M42 to the upgraded KX. i wanted the latest version camera.. it had all the new features.. hehe
still have it unlike my MX that was traded in. actually got more for it than i paid for it. of course there had been a little rise in inflation..

Believe it or not, i have never had a k1000d always have been a digital photographer.

Put a M50/f1.2 lens on it and you'll have a "pro" camera...

Very classy shots, nice b&w conversion. The border looks good too, particularly on the square ones. Makes me want to drag out the old K1000 and either photograph it, or photograph something with it! Great old workhorse. Thanks for the nice tribute to it.
